Installation & Setup Walkthrough
Install IPTVX from the Mac App Store
Open the Mac App Store on your Mac. Search for "IPTVX". Because IPTVX is a Universal Purchase across the Apple ecosystem, if you already purchased/downloaded it on iPhone or Apple TV, you can download it on your Mac at no additional charge.
Authenticate Your IPTV Playlist
Open IPTVX from your Applications folder. If you have iCloud sync enabled, your existing playlists may appear automatically! Otherwise, click "+" or "Add Playlist" and choose "Xtream Codes API". Paste your Server URL, Username, and Password from VIEWTV.
Configure Window Mode & Desktop Picture-in-Picture
You can run IPTVX in full-screen mode by pressing "F", or keep it as a resizable floating window on your desktop while you work. IPTVX also supports the native macOS Picture-in-Picture icon.
Learn Essential macOS Keyboard Shortcuts
Master navigation: Spacebar toggles Pause/Play, Up/Down arrow keys adjust volume, Left/Right arrow keys skip or zap channels, "M" toggles Mute, and Escape exits full screen.
Tune Network Buffer Size for Gigabit Connections
If your Mac is connected via high-speed wired Ethernet, navigate to IPTVX Preferences > Network. Set buffer depth to "Medium" or "Large" to ensure zero micro-stutters during 4K 60 FPS live sports feeds.
